my philosophy for personal fitness

Each personal training client has very distinct needs and objectives' meaning a 'one fits all' fitness solution can never be as effective as an individually designed, integrated programme. Through my twenty years of experience and constantly updated methodologies I ensure both a cutting edge approach and a diverse range of specialities from which to devise bespoke training plans. Through my NASM (National Association of Sports Medicine) qualifications and training I have an excellent understanding of the impact that today's lifestyle and working environment can have on the body and its response to exercise. Generally speaking, society has become steadily more sedentary over the last twenty years meaning a greater susceptibility to structural imbalances that can lead to injury with the wrong type of exercise programme.

Therefore, I employ a philosophy of integrated training. This is a concept that incorporates flexibility training, cardio respiratory training, core training, balance training, reactive training and resistance training in an integrated fashion and as part of a progressive system.
